What is it like to live in Milan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Mialno ,is a nice city ,multinational culture , I recommend it for passing period of the study or work. it is full of activities , it will more exciting for some one can speaks italian. Peoples are social and friendly.

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

I can not say to much about it , since I have done an internship in Milano , But I can say it is very rich from the students that I met there. They do many activities

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

The acommodation is quite expensive in Milano ,but depends on the location ,since the transport is expensive , you can live in city out skirts with less expensive rate. the food and beverage prices are acceptables.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Milan? Is there any advice you can give?

It depends on the time of year , usually most student accomodation are reserved by thr beginning of the acadamic year (in september). there are some websites (in italian) can help :

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Italian food is quite delicious , I prefer Penna Arrabiata, with pepper.

What places would you recommend visiting in Milan?

Doumo will be first , then the castle , if you are intersted in history ; there are many museum in Milano.

Is it good to eat out in Milan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes ,Via Flavio Baracchini, Milan, there is nice resturant for tasting some meals , it quite expensive for student ,but it is nice to try , also there are other resturant to taste some ting from the orient ,Pakistani and indian.

What advice would you give future students heading to Milan?

Prepare for your staying in Milano a head.
If you speak italian every thing will be straight foward.
In summer Milano as well as most italy will be hot , if you can not support the weather then look for room with AC . Also insects are annoying during night.
