What is it like to live in Milan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Milan is experiencing a big metropolitan city but with less crime and less chaos. A lot of businesses close for lunch hours and you won't find many businesses open past 2 am outside of party clubs. The transportation is efficient and pretty easy to maneuver but I am not sure about how late everything runs. I would definitely recommend this city to traveler, study abroad students, and expats.
