What is it like to live in Milan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I have lived in Milan sinse 1996 just after I got married. It is a hectic lively and culturally diverse city. A must to visit especially the fashion side of the city and the beauty of its architecture and generosity of the people.

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

Well, sinse I am older now that would be hard for me to say because I don't frequent the same places as I used to but the night life in Milan has a lot to offer. There are a lot of interesting pubs, discos and restaurants.

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

It is an expensive city to live in and jobs are difficult to find. But if you are good at whatever you do, you'll make it.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Milan? Is there any advice you can give?

No, there are plenty of appartments. Yes, look for your new home based on where you need to work or go to school. Find the closest metro and then look in all directions. Transportation is good and necessary so make it easy.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food in Italy is Always good. I love it all!

What places would you recommend visiting in Milan?

Every where. I have been here for 24 years and I still haven't seen it all.

Yes, I love many places to eat in Milan.

Is the nightlife good in Milan? Where is good to go?

Not my thing anymore but I do love going to concerts when they are not too expensive.

What advice would you give future students heading to Milan?

First take a deep breath and getting ready to plunge in. I did it and I do not regret it. I love living in Italy.
