Why did you choose to go to Milan, Italy?

It seemed like an interesting city in an interesting country, close to all other European countries.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I'm from Brazil so we don't receive money for our period there.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, it is easy, specially for those who already speak similar languages.
At IULM there was a pretty good course as well.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Milan?

Rocket is very nice and off-circuit.
Colonne is a must-go for beers out in the street.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Milan?

Trattoria Toscana is nice and kinda "hidden".
Pretty fun.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

City center has got a lot to be seen.
10 Corso Como will surprise you (it's got a pretty cool gallery and deck upstairs).
Navigli is pretty fun, Serendeepity is a great record store.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Milan in the future?

Have fun and choose to explore things off-circuit.
You can find a lot of tips in blogs and speaking to Italian friends.
