Why did you choose to go to Milan, Italy?

I love Italy and I wanted to try life here. Aslo I wanted to learn Italian language.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am receiving 490€ per month. For living in Milano, it really isn´t enough. Even my accomodation in school studenthouse cost 500€ so the schoolarship is just for accomodation.

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

Perfect. I can speak just for Politecnico students, but there is always some conferences, professors are very kind and try to help students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Milan to other students?

Definitly. Living in Milano and study at Politecnico was best semester in my life.

What is the food like?

I think food is same as in any other European metropoly. You will find Pizza, pasta, kebap, asian kitchen, everything what you want.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Milan?

Find accomodation is maybe hardest part of student life in Milano. Some of my schoolmates were living in hostels, or they slept on couch in their friends house, even in Oktober, November, because they weren´t able to find accomodation for normlan price.

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

Depends on cost of accomodation, for me it was around 1000€ per month. If you want to do trips every week and party every friday, it will be even more.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Italina language is easy to understand. You can learn it really fast. Language course wasn´t very good here, there are a lot of Spanish and Portugal students, which already understand and speak Italian, so it is hard for professor, also for other students to work and trying to be on same level as they are.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Milan from your city?

Bus, Airplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Milan?

Walk around Duomo.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

A lot of churches, castels.
