Why did you choose to go to Milan, Italy?
Politecnico di Milano has a reputed masters program and that's the reason I choose Milan.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
At Politecnico di Milano you'll get scholarship for two and half years based on your family income. Although there are other types of scholarship available as well but they are quite competitive.
What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?
If you're in Politecnico di Milano or any top university, you'll pretty much have non existent social life.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Milan to other students?
While you're in the fashion capital try visiting fashion shows or some free events which happens at Old Fashion.
But if you're not into fashion then you can visit plenty of museums and art galleries.
What is the food like?
Food is like any other metropolitan city in Europe. You can find anything and everything but comparatively lower prices
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Milan?
No. I had reseached before coming to Milan.
How much does it cost to live in Milan?
If you're frugal you can make it in €500.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes there's plenty of language courses available with different pricing. Some of them are even free but hard to get in.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Milan from your city?
Buy an ATM(not the bank) card. These are available for yearly and monthly basis.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Milan?
Most of the international crowd can be found at Alcatraz or you can join Milano Erasmus groups which posts party location.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Milan?
There's plenty of options to choose from and depends on what you like. I like Chinese food and there are many good Chinese restaurants Loreto. I would recommend Mao Hunan.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Most famous ones are Duomo and Sforza castle. But there's also Navigli canals to hangout with your friends. While you can find Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" at Santa Maria delle Grazie. Also you can visit lake Como which is 1 hour's drive from Milan.
