Why did you choose to go to Milan, Italy?

Because im a desing student and this city its full of desing, besides its on italy thas famous for his beuty.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I lived in milan for 6 months,i didnt recieved any money for my exchange, me and my parents paid for the time here, my university only covered the money of the studies in the politecnico.

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

I spendt a great time in milan, and i had great teachers in the politecnico, but a i cant talk about the infrastructture of the politecnico because i haed my studies online due the pandemic.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Milan to other students?

yes its a great experience and italy its very nice there are a lot of places near milan that you can go during the semester.

What is the food like?

The food its amazing, but its very expensive, i mean a margarita pizza with something to drink its like 12 euros. in other citys of italy its cheaper.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Milan?

I arrived to milan and i spendt a month looking for a room, i was lucky to found my room, but its very difficult because everything its very expensive.

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

I spend like 600 euros per month, including the food, a shared room and the basic stuff for living. Its less than in a normal year, becuase i lived there during the covid pandemic. And in that time milan was the focus of the virus so for three months i spent all day in my appartment without spending money in parties or restaurants. i dont recieved any money for my exchange, me and my parents paid for the time here, my university only covered the money of the studies in the politecnico.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

i took lessons before my exchange in italy, and it was very difficult at the beggining to undertand italians because they speak so fast, but in polimi they also have avaiable the courses in english.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Milan from your city?

i live in south america so i cant tell you that.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Milan?

near the duomo or to navigly idk, there are so many places you can go.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Milan?

i dont remember names.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

mmm, there are a lot of stuff to do near the doumo, buildings, parks, etc

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Milan in the future?

Save money for living in milan hahah the tickets for the metro or subway are very expensive.
