Top free museums in Milan

One of the best things to do as an Erasmus in Milan is to visit museums because they are impressive. I wasn't so passionate about art before reading the description with titles below the paintings in Pinacoteca di Brera. In Museo del Novecento, I discovered the real meaning of incomprehensible pictures explained with a reasonable explanation from the artists.

On the 1st Sunday of the month, you can visit a lot of museums for free. I made a list of them, and I couldn't visit more than 5, and that was exhausting. All-day I was walking and walking, but these places were unforgettable.

It was rainy, and I started my tour from Pinacoteca di Brera. I was surprised by all the connections between the paintings; they build stories from them. I followed the pictures with the Head of St. John the Baptist, I've noticed the stages of the death, and pretended to understand the art. :)))

I also liked "The Last Supper" and "Sad Presentiment", which included another picture on the wall "The kiss".

The second place was the Sforzesco Castle. At the entrance, two pigeons kissed to show to the tourists how they live their love story. There you can find the museum of musical instruments; the museum of materials like porcelain, ceramic; the museum of old inventions. It was enthralling. There were stained glass windows, but not so many as in Duomo di Milano. For me, the stained glass is something marvelous.

The third location was Acquario Civico; there is a small aquarium with aquatic flora and fauna to admire. I couldn't take my eyes off jellyfish. I've never seen an aquarium in my country; for me, it was significant and fascinating, but for other people it was small. They had recommended going to Genoa.

The fifth place was Museo del Novecento. There you could see contemporary art; it's unlike anything I've seen before. It was a perfect Sunday. I've made a lot of impressions.
