This morning's view was nothing less than yesterday's.

Although it hasn't been snowing while we were awake, it must have been snowing during the night because when we woke up there was snow on the ground.

So, today we woke up at eleven - since we came home more or less at 3:30 a.m. we didn't get that much sleep. At least I didn't. In fact, when I woke up I had a terrible headache and I was feeling queasy. I managed to get up and get ready anyway.

We were supposed to bring M to Malpensa airport so we needed to leave not later than 1:30 p.m. So we hurried, packed our things and helped Ila pack hers, than we had lunch. F's mom actually prepared lunch. She made pasta with tomato sauce, lentils - so that everybody could eat them - then she cooked roasted meat for them and scrambled eggs for me. She was nice to worry about what I could eat - I'm vegetarian, for those who still don't know. Then we opened a Panettone, the first of the Christmas season for me! Every year I forgot how good it is until I eat it again during Christmas time.

After the meal was over we put everything in the car and rushed to reach the Malpensa airport in time. We actually stopped along the way to go to Esselunga again, but only M and F got out of the car since they needed to buy stuff for the trip and they needed to do it quickly. On the highway to Malpensa that's what I had the pleasure to sed from F's car window.

There was even more snow!

It took us almost an hour to get to the Terminal one - departures - and M had to run in order to pass through the security check in time. She was lucky there were not many people.

Next stop was Milano Centrale station. Ila was supposed to take the train at 5 p.m. and my train was at 6:15 p.m. Despite the traffic, we arrived in front of the station at 4 p.m. so Ila and I had plenty of time. We said goodbye to F and went looking for a bathroom inside the station. After a bit of wandering we finally found it. Then we didn't know how to spend the rest of the time we had left. I had noticed there was ad Arnold Coffee right outside of the station so I told her, but she was not in the mood for drinking or eating anything so we decided to go to a bookshop.

Inside the bookshops there was an entire isle dedicated to the Harry Potter saga and everything related - books about Harry Potter curiosities, about the movies, about the Warner Bros Studios, about the Fantastic Beasts saga, even about Nicholas Flamel and the Philosopher's stone! We spent almost half an hour there.

Then it was time for Ila to go and take the train. I went with her to the platform and said goodbye, then I went out again. I wandered a little bit around the station and found this.

It's so cute! I had to take a picture.

I came back to the station after not so long - I'm always afraid to not catch my train in time - and I waited for the screen to show my train's platform.

I found this ancient clock at the station and I thought it was worth a picture. Unfortunately, my photography skills and tools are not so advanced to capture the image exactly the way I wanted.

At 6 p.m. they finally put my train's platform on the screen. I went there - it was the thirteenth platform - and my train arrived a few minutes later.

That has been my experience in Milan and Verbania. I actually didn't get to see much of Milan, I hope I'll go back there to see more anytime soon!
