Easy life, beautiful city but calm.

What is the student lifestyle like in Metz?

Thursday nights are Student Party Nights in Metz. There are some nice parties it really depends on the club or bar where it is organized.

How much does it cost to live in Metz?

Life cost is not very expensive but it's a French city so you can expect cheap prices for everything. For clothing I recommend crossing the boundaries and go to Germany, Sarrebruck. It worths it.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Metz? Is there any advice you can give?

There is a lot of flat in the center of the city but prices can be high.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Nothing special in terms of gastronomy in Metz

Is it good to eat out in Metz? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

T'chiz, the place to eat in Metz :) Also Moulins Bleus, Angeluzzo, Time Rock, or La Cantine

Is the nightlife good in Metz? Where is good to go?

Only one good nightclub: Les Loges
There are nice cafés/bars in the center of the town at the Place Saint Jacques. During the week it's too calm

What advice would you give future students heading to Metz?

Visit cities around: Nancy, Strasbourg, Sarrebruck, Luxembourg
