Generally, what is Middle East Technical University like?

Middle East Technical University (METU) is a huge campus university in Capital of Turkey Republic. It is known as one of the best universities in Turkey especially in engineering and design it is the best. The education language is English. In the campus you can find everything you need, you even don't need to go out of it.

What are the facilities like?

There are enough amount of dormitories, they are generally cheap and nice. There you have chance to use all sport areas (tennis courts, sport halls, gyms, swimming pools, football, american football, rugby, even sailing) , we have a big library which helps you to reach huge amount of resources.

Are the lessons easy in Middle East Technical University?

Lessons are not easy in METU, if you want to be successful you have to work hard.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

University organises different kinds of events like career fairs, tree planting festival etc. However there are around 100 students organisations and they are quite active, so you can find many events everyday.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Teaching is absolutely a high quality, that's why METU is among the best 50 universities in the world.

Are there any stories you can share?

There are many stories of course but it is better to tell the story in DEVRİM stadium (revolution) which is very famous.
