Cuba in Slovenia
There are many cafés and bars in Maribor. Most of them offer good coffee and nice atmosphere. Mulata, however, turned out to be one of my favourite bars.
The owner is from the beautiful island - Cuba. He has managed to transmit a little bit of the Cuban spirit in Maribor. The bar is small. It has tables both inside and outside. The music is (no surprise) Latin music.
Latin music is extremely popular in the clubs and the bars in Maribor, and I suppose in the rest of Slovenia. The owner is great. I don't know his name, but he is nice and funny.
The place itself seems more authentic than the remaining café bars because of the Latino spirit. The combination of authentic music, rum bottles, Cuba Libre cocktails, and good coffee will make your day.
