Malmö promenade

If you have a free time while visiting Copenhagen, don't waste it! Run to the main railway station and take the train to Malmo. The connection between Malmo and Copenhagen is really good, the train runs every 20 minutes and it takes 30-40 minutes to get there. The price ticket is about 8 euros one way.

Malmo, the third largest city in Sweden, is unfortunately known only because some series were filmed there by Danish movie making companies. However, it is underestimated. I spent 5 hours there and totally enjoyed it.

The first thing you notice when you exit the station is lack of people. It looks like peaceful dead city. Perfect place for an introvert. The best thing to do in Malmo is walking. Walking down the promenade, the length of which is about 7 km. If you visit Malmo during the hot weather, you can even swim in the sea from one of the special places. You should be brave enough: it is very deep.

I was amazed how pretty the town is: there are a lot of fountains that lead into the sea, caffes and restaurants that are cheaper compared to Danish prices. From the promenade you can see the famous dancing house, the famous bridge, connecting Sweden to Denmark and even Copenhagen.

If you get tired of the sea view, go to the centre of the town, visit some shops and restaurants. Malmo is a great place to think your own thoughts and breath the fresh air.

P. S. don't forget that Sweden uses Swedish crones and Denmark uses Danish crones...
