Malaga\'s mountain

Apart from our beautiful beaches, in Málaga we also have mountains. Something we really like to do on Sundays is having a walk over “Los Montes”, and enjoying the fresh country air and the amazing sights of Málaga from the above, with your friends, and having a good time with them, your family, your partner, or all of them together!

Mainly, over the area of “El pantano del Agujero” (Reservoir of the Whole), because of the situation of the reservoir, the whole place is quite lush and full of green landscapes.

But the problem comes when careless people throws butts away, what can produce fire, destroying this beautiful place. Something will never disappear is “careless people”. If you go to “Los Montes”, the best thing you can do is go for a meal in some “venta” (inn). There are lots of them there, but the most famous one is “La Venta el Túnel” (The Tunnel Inn), as you can imagine, the name is quite simple, it is located close to a tunnel in the mounts.

In this pic, me and my friends are having lunch at “La Vent alas Pitas”. The most typical dish there in “Los Montes” is the paella, not any paella, but a special paella from the mounts, made of eggs, “chorizo” and “lomo”.

So if you’re going to Málaga, don’t forget not just going to the beach, but also visiting “Los Montes”, because you’ll always have fun and enjoyment.
