Lost in Seoul
As one of Seville in “andaluces por el mundo” said, I also missed the first day that I went to walk around Seoul.
Thank to God, I wasnt alone, iwent with two friends from college, but still we were so stupid to lose, and that we simply turn away a couple of miles from campus.
Well, all was because it was a night that we were hungry and decided to find a place for dinner (a McDonalds for example), we found room for dinner, dinner and after dinner we were about to return to the residence to sleep, because next day we had presentation at the university.
Along the way we try to improvise, and instead of taking the same path for the return trip, we went down another street seemingly parallel, but not as it was the thing that in Seoul there are no parallel streets... we were hanging around for several hours ask people for;The University of Seoul, but people do not know the international name of the university, then they knew nothing about it (and really we were very close to it). Finally we found some young people told us as pronounced in Korean, something like;Seoul siripté; then depart from there people told us properly until we finally arrived after many hours walking giving back.
So if you go to a country where the language is so different, pointing as is the name of your residence or university in the native language, so I will spare yourselves problems like this.
