How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stayed just for one semester, and Erasmus gave me €2000.

You meet a lot of people, improve your language skills, go out with friends, go to the university or the Fachhochschule. This is a good lifestyle!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Magdeburg to other students?

Yes, of course! There is not a long time that I'm here in Magdeburg but I am really enjoying, so I think it is going to be better! Of course! Go there.

What is the food like?

The food is like German food. There are no specialities, just German food and beer!

Not really, you have to be very well-organized, and ask the student residences a place for you, if you do it on time, you'll have no problem to find accommodation here in Magdeburg!

I personally spend €251 to rent my 21 m2 room, so it is not really expensive as in France! Rooms are beautiful, large and well entertained!

You can find whatever you want here, they have a lot of courses and you can choose it, so pretty nice!

You can take the plane but with low cost companies as Easyjet, and when you arrive in Germany you MUST travel by bus because, if not it is too expensive, for example Magdeburg-Berlin by bus: €8 and by train: €29. So Take the bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Magdeburg?

You can go to a Disco named: Barracke. There are a lot of pubs where you can meet friends, have a beer, talking, laughing, etc.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Magdeburg?

The restaurant Da Nino not far from the Campus is not bad at all.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
