Thanks Joe :)
That's true, maybe city center is better for us. We are looking for flat near some train or bus station. We'd like to have a good connection with university. Im planning to visit Madrid in half of August to check all. Maybe some of my friends will be with me. We'll let you know.
Cheers!

Hi everyone.
I'm coming to UEM from England in August to study for a year. Looking into accomodation etc. Is anyone else going to UEM?
Stan De Written 12 years ago
Garth - I am! I will study at UEM! What do you study? I will follow some advertising classes

My roommate went to UEM, she lived in Moncloa and would definitely recommend commuting. Also the uni is quite fancypants apparently, so you can expect some pretty decent facilities :)
I was wondering if there's no one else who is going to CES Felipe II (a department of Complutense in Aranjuez)...? I will be studying at their faculties of Translation and Fine Arts and would love to meet some people that will also be commuting/that live in Aranjuez.

Cork is great....as we are known 'the real capital' haha. Do you have any reccomendations of the best areas to stay in Madrid...I just want somewhere nice, with good parties and reasonably close to EUM??? :)

I've never been to UEM..is it in villaviciosa? dunno I've always recommended the principe pio/moncloa area together with the atocha area and cuatro caminos-nuevos ministerios area...but i guess if you have to go to villaviciosa your bus will leave from moncloa ¿? so thats a pretty good area for students

I study cross-media management, and I will take some advertising classes.
I'm looking for a room arround Principe Pio (there is a bus in Principe Pio every 15 minutes to UEM)

I would also be interested in renting an appartment close to Principe Pio. Do you also have other options? :-)
