Hi
I'm Robin from Germany, I'm going to study at Lyon 1 for 9 months starting in September.
Looking forward to meeting a lot of interesting people!
Oh and of course I'm also looking for an apartment..

See you soon

hi carolyn! so we can still apply for accomodation? because i thought that we couldn't do that anymore since the last day for application was the 29 of april! thank you! bye :)

Well I'm not 100% sure, I'm just going by what they say on the site. I tried to email the housing department in the univeristy
but I haven't gotten a reply yet either

Hello everybody,

I'm coming to Lyon in september. I will stay till January.

Anyone who's going to the EFAP school of communication?

Yannick

hey! i am going to study law for 9 months (master) at Jean Moulin 3. is there someone else studying law?
i am thinking to find accomodation through Crous but i saw that they have an orientation course which i am not really intersted in. does anybody know if this course is compulsory?

nice to meet you!:)

Don't worry about this course. You don't have to choose it.

good news then;)thanks

Hola, un saludo desde Córdoba (Andalucía). Os invitamos a visitar esta ciudad y a mejorar vuestro nivel de español en nuestra escuela. www.elecordoba.com

Heya, I'm headed to Lyon 3 with two other girls from my college, we're studying there from September - June and we're doing the DEUF. We went to Lyon in April, checked out the university and the nightlife of course. Met up with other erasmus students who are there now who were having a great experience. Really looking forward to it :)

Hi Sophie, that's great! I'm looking forward to go to Lyon in July, to look for an apartment. Did you girls find a place to stay yet? Residence or apartment? What did other erasmus students suggest? Is the university well organized? How is the nightlife????? eheheheh

Hi (: Im working at a hospital in Lyon next year as part of my degree in Pharmacology. I move in August this year! I'd be more than happy to share an appartment or a flat with someone would be nice to explore the city together. It would be really nice to meet lots of new people over the year. I'm very excited about moving to France.

Carolyn and Simona just saw your comments. The university accomodation deadlines were in April however there is a later deadline date. The company I am working for sent me the links only a few weeks ago so they must still be taking applications. I'm waiting on a reply from my employer but will happily let you know when I find out any more details. (:

I've just found this forum and hope it will help in finding a place to live with people in the same situation as myself!

Speak to you soon!

Bonjour ! = ) I'm going to Jean Moulin Lyon 3 for two semesters with my two friends, Sophie and Jenny. This is such a great site to meet people doing the same thing as us next year. I uploaded a few pictures from our recent trip to Lyon for 5 days in April. Weather was incredible and we are all so lucky, Lyon is stunning ! If you want to know anything about our trip don't hesitate to ask =) We need to choose our subjects soon =S x

Hi everybody ..I'm going to Jean Moulin 3 in september for a year , I will be doing the DEUF programme. Unbelievably excited , I went to Lyon in April with my two friends and the city is breath taking and there is so much to do and see . Still haven't really decided what I'm thinking of doing for accommodation so I am delighted that I have found this forum because it will probably help and give me ideas.

Hi Flavia, at the moment we're trying to find a private apartment in the city centre but it's hard. Apparently because it's such a big university the erasmus students don't get that much attention so we're going to have to be really persistent and independent. Night life was great! Wine is very cheap and there are plenty of bars and nightclubs about the place. Joann and Jenny up above me were the two girls I was talking about. You'll be seeing us in Lyon :-p

Hi Sophie, Lyon sounds like a great place! I can't wait to go. I have emailed my employer today to see if she has any links to private accomodation so will let you know if you like? (:

Hey Lauren = ) You could go through the CROUS which is student accommodation, but it's still fairly expensive. Or private accommodation which is what me and my two friends are doing hopefully. Arrondissement 2/3 or 5 would be best. 2 is bellecour, city centre location and 5 is vieux lyon, gorgeous ! Maybe someone on this site would be looking for someone to share with, because theres millions of 2 beds in lyon but furnished ones are hard to find ! x

hey there! i was told that Crous is not just an accomodation for students...from what i understood, it isn't a "real campus". the place is 30 min by subway from the university. have i understood well or does anybody have other information about crous?

Yeah exactly, It's cheaper accommodation mainly for students but not on site of your university. http://www.adele.org/public/residence/residence_liste.php?ville_mere=LYON
Theres the Lyon link, pick the one you want and you'll be around other students !

Hi, My name's david and I'm from ireland. A group of us are arriving in Lyon in august for 2 semesters. Just thought it would be a good idea to write on this so we will have an idea of who will be partying with us next year. We're staying in a place called "Les Estudines Le Clip". Where is everyone else staying?
