Welcome to the forum for Erasmus Lyon 2011 / 2012!

I am Pedro, from Oporto.I am going next year to Lyon.
I hope it's gone be very crazy time and a great experience.I am planning to travel a lot to.Like I want to visit Nice, Paris, and skiing at Alpes which are very near :)

I'm from Poland , I'm studiyng psychology in my country and I decided to spend one (or MAYBE two ;) ) semester in Lyon.
Hope that more of you will write something about yourself here. It'll be easier to know each others before arrival :)

I'm from England, starting at Lyon 3 (Jean Moulin) for the first semester. Is anybody looking for accommodation or do you all know where you're staying? I would prefer to find an apartment near the university but need someone to share with so if anyone's interested let me know! xx

I'm from Braunschweig/Germany and I'm doing my practical here in Lyon since two weeks. I would like to get to know other persons, habitants of Lyon as well as foreign students (The people of my practical are living to far away to meet for the evening). Do anybody know a good way to find new friends here (maybe an Erasmus-Party or something like that)?
@Sophie: I had many problems finding an appartment. But here I have found my one: http://www.adele.org/public/residence/residence_liste.php?ville_mere=LYON
It is not really cheap, but it is possible to get a grant from the french government.

I think there'll be a lot of Erasmus parties, but it's hard to organise something beeing still far far away from Lyon. But I'm sure that when we'll be at the place, we'll figure something out. I'll be in Lyon from 1 october, can look around ;)

Hey everyone I'm going to study at Lyon 3 from September on and I'm very excited! I'm a little bit concerned about accomodation, like many of you are! I'll definitely give a look at Martin's website, even though I'm more up for a "colocation" rather than student residences :)

I was thinking of doing SELF for the first semester then the DEUF after that, it seems like the easiest option for me :) I'm doing European Studies here in Ireland, so I'll probably pick courses that are related to the European Union and such :)

Has anyone gotten accommodation yet? Or do you guys know where you'd like to stay?

I'm going to go through the university for accommodation, through CROUS. As far as I know, they start accepting applications from the 8th of June onwards. The website is here http://associnterlyon3.univ-lyon3.fr/
