I am a nature lover so I could not miss this beautiful park! It is becoming one of my favorite places in Denmark so far. I was lucky enough to experience a warm september with sunny days, which made me really happy. There are open spaces, ponds and woods, you can find lots of wildlife like deer, squirrels, ducks, swans, aquatic snails; frogs; newts; multiple bugs and critters; there are beautiful oak trees mushrooms...

There are maps of the park in boxes close to the red gate entrances or just use your Google Maps application, just mind that the trails don't have names/signs.

Have a nice walk or ride your bicycle in the middle of the forest and the very nice deer. If you know how to ride a horse there is an equestrian center, there is also a golf club which I'm personally not a fan. I have visited during the weekend and it has always been filled with happy families, pets, couples and friends. Really nice place to have a picnic! The hunting lodge Eremitagesletten is a really nice building on top of a small hill.

Check out the Deer Park website if you're interested.
