Livin' la vida Erasmus!

hi. I'm student and I live in İzmir, Turkey. I want to go to Los angeles for the next year. there is nothing I decide yet. I am just in the beginning of thinking process of going there. I thought that erasmus is an exchange program that is just around Europe. I mean, does erasmus include United States? because I don't want to go to somewhere else for erasmus. I want to go to Los angeles, US. can anybody know about that? If so, please let me know. thank you.
