Success is not all about the money

London, graffiti... So, what is the first thing that these two words put together remind you? To me, it's Banksy. This is a great British graffiti artist, who is very popular, but nobody knows who he is- his real identity is unknown! His style is full of black humour and satire.

The world premiere of the film "Exit Through the Gift Shop" occurred at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on 24 January. It is a film by Banksy and it's about a story of Thierry Guetta, a French immigrant, who lives in Los Angeles and does street art.

So, even if (according to what I've heard) his works are sold in thousand pounds and dollars and euros, he doesn't get any of it. So that, maybe he's not rich, but he is definitely successful.

There are two “outstanding” categories of people: people who are rich and people who are poor. In spite of the financial potential and social place there are many people who become successful.

My point is that money isn’t everything, especially in success.

Firstly, there are many poor people, who have become very successful. Take an example of Sheldon Gary Adelson. He was born to a poor Jewish family, in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. He was son of a Boston cab driver. According to Forbes magazine, Adelson is the 6th richest person and the third richest American in the world…

Secondly, nowadays more people have a chance to become successful, if they are talented or if they are just very hard-working.

Finally, there are people who think they are successful in their life, but in fact, they don’t earn lots of money and they don’t have huge houses or something. They are successful for themselves.

In conclusion, it can’t be measured by money. On one hand, maybe somebody has a lot of money, but he’s not successful at all. On the other hand, there can be somebody, who achieved what he wanted and thinks he’s successful- THAT is success I think!
