My first day in London

I am Ecuadorian but I am studying a semester at the University of London. I am studying Biochemistry and Pharmacy, while I am studying I am improving my English. When I arrived in London I met two friendly girls, their names are Mell and Genesis, they are both 22 years old, they are my roommates and curiously they have been living in London for longer so they know the city better; While I was putting all my luggage in order, they invited me to visit the famous Big Ben. We went after breakfast, while we were on our way we ate hot dogs because we were hungry; We live near the university but Big Ben was 45 minutes away. Upon arrival I realized that it is located in the Palace of Westminster and I was surprised by the size of the clock. After spending a few hours exploring the place, we went to the British Museum and then I visited the National Gallery. We spent the whole day getting to know the city and then we went to dinner, I had a very nice welcome with two incredible girls. Tomorrow I am going to visit the University of London inside.
