Why did you choose to go to Logroño, Spain?
Why Logroño mmm ok, let´s start. Because is a not too big city but not too small, 152. 000 people! You can go everywhere on foot! just rent or buy a bike is faster! People are friendly and kind, and our Spanish language is better than other communities in Spain!
You can do everything in this comfortable city: relax, party, sports,...
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I don't know anything about this, because Logroño is my hometown! I did Erasmus in the Cezch Republic
What is the student lifestyle like in Logroño?
Well, I was a student from the University of La Rioja, and nightlife on Thursday was one of the best! Rent a flat/room is really easy and I think cheaper than other cities in Spain. We have many Erasmus people and exchange people in our city and University.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Logroño to other students?
Yes of course!
What is the food like?
Laurel´s street is the most famous, you can eat "pinchos" and drink red/white wine in a good company in one of the best street in the world! Or go to visit some wine cellars, or eat "patatas a la riojana"...
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Logroño?
I have no idea, I live in my parent's house at that moment
How much does it cost to live in Logroño?
It is not an expensive city I think.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I think yes! Ask in international relationships in Rectorado building in the University or enter in the sito web.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Logroño from your city?
The best airport is Bilbao, but it is expensive. Another option is land in Madrid and take the bus from there (4 hours) and 24 € more or less.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Logroño?
Mercado square, Sagasta St, Pub Maasai, just only ask me.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Logroño?
We have many options in restaurants and bars! Italian food, Chinese food, Turkish food, typical Spanish "asador", pinchos in Laurel Street
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Our city center is really beautiful, the cathedral, La Rioja´s museum (recently open) Parlament square, we have many parks to running and riding a bike, and we are closer to: Vitoria, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Soria, Burgos...
