Hi there ! This is the first time I am writing to you. These first days tired me like no other. We just arrived in Poland and went to the dormitory (the 7). And this afternoon I will visit lodz with some people. The trip was quite long but I have never traveled in my life so I am probably not objective. Anyway, we took a plane to enter Poland. We arrived in Cracovie. When we exited the plane the first sensation was the cold weather. Something funny, a bus was waiting for us next to the plane. It shifted us just 30 meters away. For real that was funny. We took a bus to the center of Cracovie and went to the hotel. We ate in a restorant and prices were cheaper. It was insane. The next day, we took a train for 3 hours and the taxi for 20 minutes. That is why I said that the trip was long… The country is very different. People are more social, despite my english level, and respectfull. There is really a lot of respect for autorithies and rules like pedestrian crossing. Nobody crosses when the traffic light doesn't allow you even if there is nobody on the road. It was impresive. In a supermarket, I was a bit lost. All articles were in polish. I get my phone to translate several times. The best thing I found was bread. There is a lot of bread and that is cool for French people. A meal without bread is not a meal ! There are also A LOT of donuts ! And everybody takes some of it. It's super good ! However, the dormitory disapointed me. We didn’t have that much information so what I expected was only in my imagination. We are two in a room and there is one kitchen per stage and one bathroom per 3 rooms so for 6 persons, (and you can’t lock the door of the bathroom). You don’t have any privacy and that's what bothers me. I will try to change for a better one monday. I will discover the university and the city, and the course will start soon.I will tell you about that next week. Take care of you ! See you.
