¿What comes first to your mind when you think about Holland (The Netherlands)?

The answer is probably (and appart from weed), tulips. 

But despite the steriotipes, the "Tulips Holland" happens only a few weeks per year (between middle March and middle May). If you want to experience it in the highest way possible, Keukenhof garden is a must. 

It is placed between Leiden and Amsterdam, near the original emplacements of tulips fields. Nowadays, it shows the most variety of tulips in all the Netherlands, Europe and probably the world.The park is big enough to spent a whole day, walking and enjoying the huge variety of flowers they have. Unfortunately, as it is previously said, Keukenhof opens only two months per year (during spring) and is mainly outdoors, so it is better if you check the weather conditions before going and chose a non-rainy day. 

You can acces the park by car, but also by bus from Leiden and Amsterdam Schipol

The pricce is 16.50€ and the bus is 10€. Nevertheless you can purchase a combo ticket including Bus and entrance ticket for 23.50€. 

Inside the park you can find bars and food stablisments, but as it happens usually in this kind of resorts, its quite expensive so i advice you to take your own food an drinks and just lay in the grass surrounded by the one of the most beautiful landsacapes of Holland.
