Discovery of Lisbon

The capital Lisbon is the largest city in Portugal including the portuguese riviera and the metropolitan area, with its different and so unique neighborhoods that fascinates everyone with their rich history, architecture and original styleThe Graffiti is frenquently used in many walls of the city, in the train stations and around bridges as a form of expression and street art in very beautiful colours and unique style. Although it is very large, i chose to discover the city by walking and it was really the best way to see the most beautiful coffee shops, restaurants surronding the central and famous place of Praça do Comércio.

Poeple were very friendly and kind to oriente me inside the city's narrow streets as most of the young generation specifically talk english fluently.

1- Elevador Santa Justa

The Elevador Santa Justa also called Carmo Lift is one of the first momument i was attracted to since my hostel room was located exactly in front of this huge monument that was characterised by a high of 45 metres, the elevador gives access to many of the important zones of the city and gives especially an awesome view from the top to all Lisbon  for only 5 euros, it is more advised to not take the elevador while rain is dropping because it can be very dangerous to rech the top especally whitout slipping and since the monument does not have any security ropes so it is really better to visit this attraction while the weather is all sunny and beautiful. On the top of the elevador we could see The Tage river that appeared from one side and the Praça Dom Pedro IV near the Rossio station characterised with its magnificent fontains and splendid monuments.

The tram shows the city from the inside but if poeple want to do the whole way back they would need to get out of the tram in the terminus station and pay another time to be able to go inside the Tram again.
