What is it like to live in Limerick? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is fantastic, the city is vibrant and full of activity. Lots to do, loads of places to visit and full of sport

What is the student lifestyle like in Limerick?

Very impressive. Students meet up in lots of places to share their experiences and new findings.

How much does it cost to live in Limerick?

For students accommodation is approximately €100 per week, that would be inclusive of utilities.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Limerick? Is there any advice you can give?

I can recommend visiting some websites. www.citycampus.ie is a city centre purpose build complex for students. It is a great place for international students to meet Irish students and it is very safe here. The administration office is very helpful and the accommodation is really nice.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are plenty of different restaurants/fast food and supermarkets in Limerick. The main Supermarket chains are Tesco, Dunnes, Aldi and Lidl - they stock a variety of cultural foods. Traditional Irish food would include potatoes. -

it is buzzing in the evening here, some great places are:

What advice would you give future students heading to Limerick?

Make sure you stay in staff accommodation where you can mix with other students and learn their culture
