What is it like to live in Limassol? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Limassol is one of the most beautiful towns in Cyprus. It is the second largest town and is placed near the sea. That's why it is so beautiful especially in summer!

What is the student lifestyle like in Limassol?

The second local university of the country (CUT) is placed in the center of the town where all the parties, projects and entertainments take place. The students can combine studies and fun activities as well.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You must try the local dishes such as souvla, koupepia, makaronia tou fournou and of course the local wine.

What places would you recommend visiting in Limassol?

The points of interest are usually the Archaeological site of the town as you can visit Colossi Castle, The Limassol Castle and Kourion.
The Limassol Marina and Molos are also attractions and if you want to party, the center of the town is full of night clubs especially near the Saripolou square.

Is it good to eat out in Limassol? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes of course. My favorite spots are Limassol Marina and Saripolou square.

What advice would you give future students heading to Limassol?

I would recommend to visit Limassol in spring or summer so they can enjoy the beautiful weather that provides you to do what makes your soul shine.
