What is it like to live in Limassol? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in limassol gives u the chance to experience a very chilling city. Limassol is well known for its night liFe, excellent food and warm people. The city and its district combines cypriot culture and European aura. I would totally recommend limassol to everyone who wants to experience life in the most wonderful city of the island. In llimassol you can find luxurious hotels restaurants and clubs, traditional food and hospital. There are also many places to visit and someone can see different era monuments like the medieval castle and the ancient city of Amathounta.

What is the student lifestyle like in Limassol?

Limassol is one of the most vivid cities of the island. the city is a great destination for students since it has an excellent nightlife. There are many places to go at night, cafes, restaurants and of course some stylish clubs that are a must.

How much does it cost to live in Limassol?

Living in Limassol will cost, including the accommodation 700 to 800 euro.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Limassol? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding accommodation in Limassol is not very difficult since new apartments are built after the opening of CUT. Students can find accommodation via the university host's website or they have to search for accommodation alone. The best way to find an apartment in Limassol is to walk in the area around the university and see what is available.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is excellent in cyprus. The traditional cypriot kitchen is based on the values of the mediterranean alimentation. Local meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, all farmed in the island, are the basis of cypriot kitchen. Among my favorite dishes are souvla, souvlaki, grilled pieces of pork meat served in pitta bread with fresh salad, pastitsio, pasta with minced meat an cream cooked in the oven and keftedes, meatballs with local herbs and spices.

What places would you recommend visiting in Limassol?

There are many places to visit in thecity of limassol and its district depending on what you want to see and experience. In the must watch places is the new marina where the visitor can enjoy food and coffee next to the sea in a modern environment. Secondly you have to visit the archeological sights found in the ancient city of amathounta and curium where you can see one of the four ancient amphitheatres of the island. There is also a big mall with all the comforts.

Is it good to eat out in Limassol? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Some of the best places to visit in Limassol is Tokyo restaurant, Draught limassol restaurant, Hobo mediterraneo, Zen room for excellent asian kitchen and La isla.

Is the nightlife good in Limassol? Where is good to go?

The nightlife in Limassol it is quite good. There are several spots that students can go depends for their mood. For example, Breeze, 7seas, Story, Dolce and Empire are Limassol's clubs. Before that they can visit saripolou street, where many bars are play their own role in nightlife of Limassol, my favourite one is Minibar.

What advice would you give future students heading to Limassol?

I advice the future students to do all above. The island has many secrets so don't hesitate to rent a car or a motorbike to discover it. Cyprus and even Limassol is not the place to stay at home, so don't.
