How to get to Lille?

I am writing to inform you of different ways of getting into Lille, obviously at a cheap price!

To start with Lille has an airport, however the companies that fly there are pricey, and usually, there is a stop in Paris or Brussels as as there are no direct flights.

One of the most popular options for many, is Ryanair. The bad thing is that it lands in Brussels Chaleroi, meaning that it arrives in a Belgian city which is south of Brussels. If you opt for this, you must leave using the 2 exit and take Bus A (which costs 2, 50€) which takes you directly to Charleroi station. There you go to an international counter and ask for a ticket to Lille (which arrives at Lille Flandres). If you´re under 25, the ticket price is 18. 5€, if not its 20€. The train takes about and hour and a bit.
