What is it like to live in Lille? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I would recommend it because it is a moving city, you can go to different parts of Lille and find different things that would suit you for your entertainment.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lille?
Lots of parties, fun, many things to discover between friends and restaurants to go to.
How much does it cost to live in Lille?
It is a little expensive because it is a big city but not that much.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lille? Is there any advice you can give?
No, there are plenty of different areas of the city, however, they are neighbourhoods more friendly than other, do your research well online.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Very good gastronomy! Lots of different restaurants with plenty of choice for food. My favourite is the Meunier chip shop, there are 3 in different parts of the center. Le Soleil d'Agadir is also a great one for Moroccan food.
What places would you recommend visiting in Lille?
I'd recommend visiting Le Palais des Beaux-Arts, le Tripostal, etc.
Is it good to eat out in Lille? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
My favorite spots are Le Soleil d'Agadir, Meunier chip shop, Raptor shack, Waiffle...
Is the nightlife good in Lille? Where is good to go?
Yes, there are lots of terraces and nighclubs like le Network, Smile Club and Golden Wave.
What advice would you give future students heading to Lille?
Don't worry, food is great, there are lots of things to do and to discover. Lots of shops to do groceries, shopping, etc...
