Lovely dynamic city centre, not that great if you have to get an apartment in Roubaix, the outskirts of Lille can be quite poor.

Laid-back nice environment, lots of entertainment.

How much does it cost to live in Lille?

The prices are good.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lille? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, it is quite difficult and you often end up on the outskirts which I would want to avoid.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Very good, some nice Northern specialties, like waffles.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lille?

The opera, the centre is lovely.

Yes, there is a lot of cultural bars, the Irish pub shows live sport and serves great food.

Is the nightlife good in Lille? Where is good to go?

There is not much to do but the cinemas are good.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lille?

Try and get an apartment in Lille and not the surrounding areas, it is worth it for the experience.
