Why did you choose to go to Lille, France?

I choose the school actually. EDHEC is a great school!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I don’t have a scholarship! I pay a high rent since I live on campus, but I get about 1000 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lille?

It’s great! Many associations, many parties, a lot of young students from so many universities around Lille!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lille to other students?

Yes, of course!

What is the food like?

There are many restaurants, varied I would say! You can get pretty much any cuisine you want!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lille?

No, I choose the campus accommodation in Croix!

How much does it cost to live in Lille?

Well, it depends, I would suggest living in shared flats since you save costs there, but my friends pay about 400 euros per person!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Well, there are many language courses, but the fact is that not many people speak English here, and it is going to be hard initially to convey and express yourself.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lille from your city?

Plane!

Where would you recommend going on a night out in Lille?

Well, you have a huge number of options, if you want a quieter classier atmosphere there are bars in Vieux-Lille, however if you want crazy parties you have Rue Solférino!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lille?

No, sorry I usually cook my own food!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are the Opéra, the Piscine in Roubaix and République, also the Musée des Beaux Arts.
