How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The Lille program lasted 10 months but only 6 months could be covered by the Erasmus scholarship, which was 230 euros per month. I received a three-months payment in December and another three-months payment at the end of the program in May.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lille?

There are many things to do and see in Lille. You will find several clubs and pubs as well as cafes and shopping centres. There is pretty much everything for day time and night time. There are two tramways and two metro lines that work pretty much all day and several buses. Each university has its student associations so you will never get bored because there will be always events or parties during the week.

Finding accommodation in Lille is easy but a little expensive. I lived in a studio in the campus dorm which was very expensive but renting a flat with other students is a cheap solution.
