What is it like to live in Leeds? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is not that pretty to live in, but for a student I totally recommend it! I have been living there for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! There is so much to do, the shopping is great, the student atmosphere is amazing, there are so many young people walking around that it really is a great student city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Leeds?

The student lifestyle is so much fun! There's loads of activities for students to do, loads of clubs and societies you can join and loads of clubs to go to!

How much does it cost to live in Leeds?

Living in Leeds is quite cheap in comparison to the South of the UK. You can find some really cheap places to live, although they're not always very nice! But typical student houses.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Leeds? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's really easy, Unipol - is a company that do student housing it would be best to look on their website for houses to share with other students. Or you can stay in University accommodation which is really popular for first year students at the university! University accommodation is always so much fun and you are guaranteed to meet a lot of people.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There isn't any typical "leeds cuisine" but there are a variety of restaurants to chose from.

Is it good to eat out in Leeds? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, in the trinity centre there are lots of restaurants to chose from so just go there and find what you would like.

Is the nightlife good in Leeds? Where is good to go?

There is such a good night life in Leeds! A big range of places for all tastes in music. The Leeds University Union has a night on every Friday called "Fruity" it's very popular amongst most students. Or Mission on a Thursday is one of my favourites! It's always packed with students and has such good music!
