Language issues

Hi! I was wondering if it is possible to study in Las palmas without speaking Spanish? Does anyone know if the university offers language courses fo ECTS?

Hi,

I think is almost impossible to study in Las Palmas, because Spanish is a very complicated language, and I am not sure if you can do all the subjects in your native language. Each subject is between 6 and 12 ECTS here ;)

Hi,

I was Erasmus in Las Palmas some years ago and I agree that it's really hard to study there without speaking any Spanish. Back then there were very few classes in English.

When I was there ULPGC offered special language classes for Erasmus students. In the beginning (during the welcome week, i think) we took the language test and then we were divided into 3 levels of difficulty. So there was an absolute beginners course also.
