What is it like to live in Lahore? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lahore is a very ancient city in punjab, and there you can find ancient buildings of Muslim Mughal kingdom era almost 200 years before.
If anybody want to see punjabi culture than lahore is the best place to see.
Lahori spicy food is well known in whole pakistan.
Importance of lahore can be judged with this well known phrase in pakistan " who does not see lahore yet, that person is not born yet"

What is the student lifestyle like in Lahore?

As student it has also a strong educational background, as well known universities like Punjab University, NCA , UET Lahore and many other.
The life style of students is pretty good as students can study and enjoy extra curriculars as sports, concerts, theaters and Cenimas.

How much does it cost to live in Lahore?

There is not much costly for students to live in Lahore. A good residence costs 5000~7000 pakistani rupees (about 50 euros per month). And food and other expence are same like 50 euros.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lahore? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes for students specially for bachellors its difficult to find residence but students can take appartments by sharing it 2 to 4 people.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is very spicy, but tasty as I wrote earlier Lahori food is famouse in whole pakistan.
My favourite dish is "chicken plao"

Is it good to eat out in Lahore? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes its full fun to eat out in lahore, as most of peaple love to eat out. But its spicy food I advice one should have it once a week.

Is the nightlife good in Lahore? Where is good to go?

Yes lahore remain alive in night.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lahore?

If you go to Lahore it means you have seen half of pakistan, because Lahore is known the Heart of Pakistan. Enjoy your stay in lahore enjoy lahori food and get to know culture of punjab and pakistan. You will find peaple of lahore very loving and wellcoming.
