Why did you choose to go to Kyoto, Japan?
Because I'm interested in the region of Kansai and its close proximity to Osaka.
How long does your placement last? How much financial aid do you receive?
12 months. Financial aid is reduced for the costs of the university.
What is student life like in Kyoto?
Very nice, but very different from Spain.
Would you recommend the city and the university of Kyoto to other students?
Without a doubt.
How is the country's cuisine?
Exquisite and varied.
Did it cost you a lot to find accommodation?
No, the University is in charge of finding it for you.
How much does it cost to live in Kyoto?
I couldn't give a specific amount, but it's not cheap.
What is the language like? Did you attend any language courses at the university?
The language can be really good if you actually want to study and use it.
What's the cheapest way to get to Kyoto from your city?
By plane.
What places would you recommend for going out in Kyoto?
The Kamogawa river area.

And to eat in Kyoto? Can you recommend some of your favourite places?
Kappa Sushi.
And what about cultural excursions?
The Kiyomizu-dera temple.
Do you have any advice for other students thinking of going to Kyoto?
Live it! Experience it to the maximum!
