Sushi king Kuala Lumpur branches

Sushi king is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most famous sushi franchises; there is probably a Sushi King in every mall or area you go to. It is known as the rather affordable sushi brand, some also call it not actually sushi, since they do provide a lot cooked sushi, and actual sushi is mainly raw. Nonetheless haters are gonna be haters, I wholly love Sushi King. They have changed up their sushi styles a little bit and serve all different kinds of sushi, and not just limited raw ones. So don’t hate on it.

I used to hate sushi before I came across Sushi King, and then one day after school I was dragged there by my best friends, after that I went from a typical sushi hater to a typical sushi lover. Like I said there a lot of branches in all of KL, so you don’t have to worry. A few of the branches I'm aware of are:

  • Ampang point branch
  • KLCC food court
  • Sunway pyramid
  • Times square
  • Low yat plaza
  • Midvalley

And basically any well-known location in Kuala Lumpur has a Sushi King right nearby. I feel like Sushi King is basically like a fast food branch for sushi, they have amazingly fast service and it's super affordable as well. Their popularity is quite outstanding in Malaysia. there is always some new sushi flowing on that conveyor belt, it never stops.

The menu doesn’t solely have sushi items, it has many different types of Japanese cuisines and I love each and every one of it. Now here are some of my favorite items from the menu, and it hurts me to choose a few when I know I love everything. But I gotta pick man.

They have the Premium salmon, which is two raw salmon sushi on a plate for 4 ringgits, that’s really cheap and I had the raw salmon once it's pretty good. Oh also please keep in mind that all of these prices are before the GST, which that extra 6 percent tax that was implemented last year. My other favorite sushi dishes are: Ebi fry which is basically like two medium sized fried prawns, wrapped with seaweed and rice, topped with some cheese sauce. Oh even thinking about it makes my mouth water, the price is 6 ringgits for one dish. Tori Karaage is also good, it's seaweed and some fried chicken wrapped sushi style. They have a lot of Tuna sushi, I don’t really like tuna or else those are fine choices as well.

Now my absolute favorite one is Kani Tama Maki, oh gosh it has fried crabstick some cucumber and it's topped with mayonnaise sauce. It's so good that your soul will leave your body. I can go on and on about the menu but I'm going to stop right here and let it be; make sure you explore the different types of sushi that Sushi king offers, take your taste buds on a roller coaster journey. Oh also I really don't like their drinks there, they all taste super weird so I think your safest choice would be ice lemon tea if you don't want to be disappointed.

Anyways I hope you enjoy this short review ahead. Lots of love, I hope I do get the time to write some more.

Cheers
