Krakow- Beginning

Hi friends. I have just started my Erasmus adventure. That's why, in this post I will share my first impressions with you. It was really tiring to come Krakow. If you want to make your trip cheap, it is better the choose the indirect flight. I came to Budapest by plane, then I got on a PolskiBus to go to Poland. And my total cost was about 220 Turkish Liras. But what I need to tell you is that travelling is so tiring. My plane took off from Istanbul to Budapest at 10:10 am and I arrived at 12:00 pm. Then, I had to wait 5 hours for PolskiBus. They leave 3 times a day. My bus was leaving at 5:00 pm and we arrived in Krakow at 1:00 am. So, if you want it cheap, you can make that kind of tiring trip. Of course, there are another options, too. You can go to Berlin or another city. It is your decisions, it depends on you. For now, I am glad my trip is over and I would like to tell something about my first days in Krakow.

Most of us try to get settled during the first days in a new place. My first days were just the same. Wherever you go, first thing you will need to do, is to change your money in any exchange bureau. After that, you can start shopping. During your first days, you will spend more money. That's why, do not get upset. And if you do not have any cooking staff (forks, knives, spoons, saucepans, strainers, etc. ), you will need to buy all of that on your own and, of course, it will cost you money. And if you are not used to meeting and adapting to different cultures, you will be shocked, because it is a very different one, believe me. I say "you will be shocked", but, actually, it really depends on you. I am not saying everyone. As soon as you understand it, there will be no problem. Anyway, now I am going to tell you about Krakow.

The campuses in Krakow, and especially mine, are very green. They really take the afforestation seriously. For me, it is an improvement. However, after their night out partying, they turn this beautiful environment into a garbage. In addition, the weather is generally cold. That is why you need to take your warm clothes with you before you come here, you could just go to Decathlon. And kebabs are really famous here. They call it a kebab but it is a chicken doner actually. That is all for now. Because I still haven't got a chance to visit everything. I am going to share more soon. Have a good day. Bye.
