What is it like to live in Kingston? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

There is not alot of variety when it comes to hobbies like in Europe. But rest assured that if you are a party enthusiast, you will be entertained eaxh day if you can keep up. The weather like most tropical countries is primarily sunny, sometimes there is rain during a certain season as well. The people in Kingston for the most part are incredible friendly and even more friendly to foreigners.

How much does it cost to live in Kingston?

The cost of your degree program may be expensive but otherwise it should be fairly reasonable to afford housing and groceries.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kingston? Is there any advice you can give?

In the area of Mona which is a community between two of the cities major universities. There should be many accomodations around that vincinity. It is highly reccommended that you go to these neighbourhoods before september as its location is highly desired.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Jamaican... Cant get more specific than that. You must try our Jerk Chicken or Pan Chicken with festival, escoveitch fish and bammy, ackee and saltfish with dumplings (johnny cakes). And our beef patties.
