The hotel prices are very reasonable and there several hotels inside the park. There is a food corner at the ticket centre to enjoy tasty foods. Croatia is very famous for seafood. I enjoyed lot of fish dishes and meat dishes under very cheap price.

There are boat rides which connects upper part and the lower part of the lake. It is an adventure to discover the beauty of the forests and the lakes. This place is very famous for hiking across the water. There are several routes in the park from upper part and the lower part of the lake. Each route covers different part of the forest and the lake. Each route takes different length and time to finish the journey. There are short distance routes which takes only two hours. Some tours take five to six hours to cover. When you travel I would recommend paying attention specially if you travel with the kids since you must travel on the bridges which have been built in the middle of the lake. All the time be on alert towards the road signs to not to get lost during the journey.

We can use the boat to go to upper part or lower part of the lake and climb down across the lake. Then we can catch the bus to go to our hotel or any other destination where we want to go. But if you like you can go to the upper part or lower part from the bus and come back by the boat.

When you plan to go there the best thing is to avoid the rainy season since you wouldn't enjoy as much as you want. I went there in August. That period is very nice for visit this place. If you plan to go in summer I would like to recommend starting the tour in the morning before getting too late since you must wait few hours to getting into a boat to go to upper or down part of the lake. I spent one and half hour in the queue just to get into the boat. But it is worth to spend time since the beauty of this place is incredible. This is best place for summer vacation and outdoor activities and enjoy different foods.
