What is it like to live in Karachi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Karachi is one of the cheapest cities in the world. The food here is very good compared to the other cities, with Biryani being the traditional food. It is a place for foodies if they love the natural spice. The city may not be up to the standards of international cosmopolitan cities in the world, but I think it is still developing and there is a long way to go.

What is the student lifestyle like in Karachi?

Thousands of students graduate every year, with medical and engineering students bearing a significant proportion among degrees. Karachi has one of the finest medical universities in the world, The Aga Khan University, where every year foreigners come here to study because of its infrastructure, quality of education and affordability.

How much does it cost to live in Karachi?

Karachi is very cheap compared to the other big cities in the world. You can have a pretty good breakfast under 2 dollars. Uber facilities and public transport are very cheap.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Karachi? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult if you have a local guiding you.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is mouth-watering over here. Biryani, Chicken Karahi, and Boneless Chicken are some of the favorites for me and for may, who prefer traditional food.

What places would you recommend visiting in Karachi?

There are good beaches here where you can scuba dive or snorkel. There are fancy restaurants that are built on rocks near the sea. Currently, a mega project is being built near Karachi, that contains theme parks, carnivals, night safaris, golf courses etc etc

Is it good to eat out in Karachi? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Do Darya and The Port Grand are one of my favorite spots.

Is the nightlife good in Karachi? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is fairly decent. Malls and shopping plazas are open quite late. Plus the restaurants are open as well.

What advice would you give future students heading to Karachi?

Make good friends and they will make your stay enjoying as well as memorable.
