Why did you choose to go to Kalmar, Sweden?

Because Sweden is my favorite country and Kalmar is small and beatiful city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

For 5 months. 280 eur each month.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Kalmar to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

I still didn't use to it typical swedish foods but you can buy and cook by yourself.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Kalmar?

I could not find an accommodation in dormitory but I found private house and it's pretty cool. I like the architecture style of swedish houses.

How much does it cost to live in Kalmar?

For me in a month around 430-450 eur including rent payment and food. It also depends what you will buy.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes. There are some classes to learn swedish language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Kalmar from your city?

Plane. And as copenhagen not far from Kalmar it was really cheap to get the plain ticket to Copenhagen and from Copenhagen to Kalmar by train (it's about 3-4 hours).

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kalmar?

I don't know.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Kalmar Castle and Öland.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Kalmar in the future?

People are nice, nature is wonderful, professors always help you if you have a trouble. It is pretty good experience for each.
