Living in Johannesburg is an absolutely amazing experience. The air is fresh, traffic is not too slow compared to other cities from other countries.

It's great.
How much does it cost to live in Johannesburg?
The cost of living is cheap in relation to Europe. People I know of from Europe get same fashion or products at a slightly lower price.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Johannesburg? Is there any advice you can give?
Not sure.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is absolutely amazing. GMOs in South Africa is at a low compared to other countries so the food tastes a lot better. To me (and people form Europe or USA), the food (and water) is at a very high standard.
What places would you recommend visiting in Johannesburg?
Monte Casino, Gold Reef City, the Apartheid Museum (for history), Carnivore (a meat eating place), FNB Stadium (used to be known as Soccer City for the 2010 World Cup).
Is it good to eat out in Johannesburg? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
It is an absolutely amazing experience to eat out in Johannesburg since the food is a lot fresher (very low GMOs used). The food is also unique and delicious. Sandton City, Carnivore and Montecasino provides many great eating spots.
Is the nightlife good in Johannesburg? Where is good to go?
Yes, it's great. Montecasino
What advice would you give future students heading to Johannesburg?
The crime is not like how the world views it, however be street smart just like every other place. People are friendly so don't hesitate to distant yourself.
