What are the facilities like?

lots of space to study, hang out, learn and interact with students, academic body, and administrative. The labs are high quality and follow the international protocols.

What are the tutors like?

Most of them have a MA´s degrees, about a 30% has a PhD´s and about 10 to 20% is in the National Investigation System.

Are the lessons easy in Occidente Institute of Technology?

The Philosofy of the campus is that the student has to be self learing, the profesors are high quality, but if the student doesn´t to the part of his bargain, he will fail.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Yes, lots of them, ecological like once a week bycicle tours, political like empauering the students and make them have a voice, feminism and LGBT activities to stand up for both woman and gay people, eco activities like separating garbage or reducing plastic, physical and mental health weeks, cultural like music and international students meetings.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

yes absolutly.

Are there any stories you can share?

Well, this Institute is Catholic, but on a more relax wing. I´ve studied my whole life in this kind of schools and even thought they have been catholic I identify myself as a non believer and I´ve never had an issue about it, and actually I´ve had many many professors that have encouraged a critical thinking and not just believeing what we have always been told to do or be. This place has all you may want to have to become that individual to aid the other and your comunity.
