Antonia, check out this website http://www.ua.gov.tr/en/programmes/lifelong-learning-programmes/erasmus-programme/erasmus-intensive-language-courses, here you can see what Universities in the country ofter the language course and the dates from these, also how to apply! Good luck:)

Tank you so much Laura. In one document it is said that you have to send the application to your home HEI (Higher Education Institution). Do you know if they mean my HEI here in Germany or do I have to send it to the HEI in Istanbul?

It´s so complicated everything :-)

Thanks in advance

ok.fanni which school are you in pecs? and what is your email address?

Hey guys,

I have a question to all those who already live in Istanbul or in Turkey? What do you think about the situation in Istanbul? Do you think it could be dangerous to go there or that there will be any difficulties? I´d be very glad if you tell me what you do think about all that. Thank you very much and best regards, Antonia

Hi,
With my friend Gosia we're going to study as Erasmus students this autumn/winter at Dogus Universitesi. We're looking for a quite cheap place to rent for first 2-3 weeks in Kadikoy or nearby. Could you recommend us anything? Thanks in advance and see you soon! Can't wait to meet you all! :)

Hi there...I am living in besiktas if you want to ask somethink about universty or flat I am here.. ;)

Hey guys,

as the main part of the people in this forum, i'll go to istanbul for one semester abroad. at the time i'm desperately looking for accomodation there, but i just can't figure out, where to live. My problem ist, that i'll visit the BU and i don't know how much attention needs to be paid to the distance between housing and university. i just want to avoid to have a daily "travel" of like 2 hours to university because i might have choosen an appartment to far away from it. Could anybody recommend some quarters of istanbul that might be the best to stay at and have an acceptable way to bogazici university? are there some things you should allways pay attention to, while looking for an appartment in istanbul?

i would be so so so thankful for any helpful information and some new contacts to my half-year-home-city.:)

thanks so far,

Sophie
