What is it like to live in Irbid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

the population of the city is around 1 million, there are 4 university, 2 of them are governmental. it is safe and not expensive city comparing to amman (capital).

What is the student lifestyle like in Irbid?

quite life

How much does it cost to live in Irbid?

the rent is going high every day since refugees are increasing every day and the demand of accommodation is increase. but
with 200 JD you an rent a studio or small flat. also you need around 200 Jd food.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Irbid? Is there any advice you can give?

it is good place and the people are friendly

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

different dishes are available, westren, chines, arab food

since the majority of the people are muslim , it is hard to find pork in the restaurant

What places would you recommend visiting in Irbid?

old city, arar house, om geesm ajloon castle, jeresh (Romanian city), country side ( during spring)

Is it good to eat out in Irbid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes food is good,
there are many sports center , swimming pool

Is the nightlife good in Irbid? Where is good to go?

coffee shop are widely spread there, night clubs are few and in my opinion it is not safe for foreigner.

What advice would you give future students heading to Irbid?

enjoy your time, try to find some friend to help during first days m so you will get the best conditions
