Ferdowsī, spelled Firdawsī, Firdusi, pseudonym of Abū al-Qasem Manṣūr, (born c. 935, near Ṭūs, Iran—died c. 1020–26, Ṭūs). an iranian poet who wrote Shah Numeh. his poems are completely wroten in persian but you might find some arabic words too. this book have translated to different languages and every year people go to his tomb and celebrate his birthday.
